The performance is about exploring different aspects of mobility and personal assistance, as well as vulnerability and exposure. The costumes reflect the ambivalence of the moving bodies and emphazise the contrast between introspection and exploration.
First, we have a cozy cave, a kind of safe haven, a retreat. It is meant to be worn by two people, and changes its shape, depending on who wears it. The second costume, for the second part of the performance, is more colourful and flamboyant - instead of creating a soft barrier to the outer world, it seeks attention and wants to be noticed. It is two individual pieces, that belong together, but can still be worn on their own, out of context.
